Hi All
Been offered a 2litre twin cam fuel injection ford seirra 1989-91 engine just wanted to know if it can be fitted in a series 3 and if so what the pit falls would be I can also have the auto gear box the lot for £150.00
any advice before I buy would help
Thanks

You can fit anything in a Series III (as long as it isn't physically too big) but I think you will be on your own, and will have a rubbish vehicle at the end.
Apart from anything else a Ser III will weigh a lot more than a Sierra, and needs different characteristics.

the engine has come out of a hot rod van my mate bought hes gonna put a V8 in it and the engine was spare and I was gettin first refusal if its no good hes gonna stick it on e-bay

I agree with the others, the ford twin cam isnt such a good engine anyways, I never understood why they made it twin cam but only 8 valves.
A disco engine will fit the series box.
