Hi,

Have been around friends of my dad's Series 3s, 90s and Defenders a lot when I was a kid and always got piles of well read LROI mags handed down to the point where my dad called me a couple of years ago and told me he'd run out of room in the attic and I had to get rid

Since growing up and leaving home I've had a couple of 4x4s, but have always wanted my own landy. I'm picking up my first Disco at the weekend. It's a 1998 300tdi and looks to be in good condition with plenty of history.

Just wanted to say hello before I start posting in the other areas probably looking for advice when it goes wrong or I get round to making some choice upgrades :)

It's totally standard at the moment.

You grew up with series' and 90's etc...but have opted for a Disco? The young generation....lol :p
:welcome2: anyway...

Lol, very true. It's a bit of a compromise between getting best one of the money, having loads of seats for when I need them and being able to fit crap in the back (bikes, camping gear, logs, dogs) when I need it. I was looking out for a 90 or 110 as well, but the disco seemed to fit the bill.
