What does everybody think?

I quite like it, especially if they fit the TDV8 for a limited edition launch model....

why only as a limited edition:rolleyes:
even the d3 tdv6 would be a good choice

Indeed but I think it will be impossible to meet modern demands without all the ECU's and such. Aren't they making it a requirement soon that all new production cars should have traction control? think they are doing that in the US

traction control is just a marketing tool.not a mandate. a slip lock would be far better addition along with auto and better cooling system

Aye! but just wait till the bugger goes wrong, and it will.

That's why I'm sticking with my 300Tdi, I can fix it with a bag of spanners. I'm in the motor trade and cars less than 10 years old are getting scrapped cos it'll cost too much to fix em, bloody disgrace.

LR needs the north American market to survive. Plus you got to follow the EU auto standards.
They are fine the way they are with me:)

and that should make us all feel gratefull
not that i could ever afford a new 1 and if me lottery numbers came up i'd have a D3 (still keep me 2 fenders) might even buy meself a nice td5 90 off-roader if there's enough cash left :D
