After painstakingly removing my entire dash for an update I have got to covering it.

I am going black good quality vinyl with white diamond stitching. For the main top dash and lower section (you can see the lower section here).

I will be using the KBX centre console also covered in the same material. As my Defender is white I'm adding so white accents like the inner middle dash vent (where you adjust the external air vents) will be sprayed white, the KBX centre piece will also be white.

I wanted something a bit more updated but different from the rest.

I'll add pictures as I'm going along if anyone is interested.

Here is the centre console, sorry it's an RDX.

The facia will remain white whole the rest will be covered with the cross stitched vinyl.

I'll get some images once installed, might be a few weeks yet as the Defender is still in the garage.

Once it's out I'll be busy putting the inside all together.

I tried loads of local trimmers, all were busy so I had to look across the country after emailing them all, one got back to me but he was busy too so took a while..

I would suggest doing the same, it would be ideal for door cards. Also on my plan to do..

The dash middle centre console came from RDX ...

See the cluster console has now been done.! Looking good with the finishing panel from raptor engineering.

Get the defender back next week so I will start installing..!

This is good work, from what you're saying it looks do able I might take a look at doing mine at some point

Hopefully it will all come together, by no means am I a seamstress!!

But it's doable with a bit of practice.

Touch wood it all looks neat when it's in.. Oh and it fits together with the extra 4mm of foam... Aaaahhhh.

I recovered my door cards with same material. It was cheaper then new door cards to be honest and looks good. Also matches the seats I got from Sams Trim.

Sorry was at the office....

I wasn't avoid the question and apologise if I misunderstood. I used a guy called trim deluxe in littlehampton, I literally had to call upholstery companies around the country to find someone to do it as they either don't respond or too busy. I know the guy I used is super busy.

I am also getting the door cards done when I get it back!

I only went with vinyl as it's cheaper than leather and easier to clean should I get muddy.
