Hi all

I have just retired my 92 Discovery V8 after 15 years of happy motoring, it was quite a sad moment.

To cheer both myself and the wife up we decided to get a Defender 90 and we have managed to find a 18 month old TD5 XS with many extras. I must admit it's a bit different to the old Disco, especially the engine (I loved that V8), but I think we will all be happy together.

Cheers Rich

Welcome , there seems to be a trend evolving here, previous Disco drivers retiring their Disco's and coming over to the dark side.
Wonder if the same applies to Defender drivers, do they aspire to driving a Disco one day?

Yeah........... yep that's confirmation enough for me, he was joking...........right?

Doubts about Brummiebloke's grasp on reality.

Maybe he just meant a freeby, as in giveaway, now that I could aspire to, as long as it's not a gaylander.

You cant seriously mean people dont aspire to owning a freelander???????????????
shed on wheels or tratta dont appeal to everyone.
:) :) :)
