Yes, it has slowly got worse, started with white smoke when starting,
and deteriated to white smoke continuously, getting worse all the
while, really obvious when standing still, (great for hiding cars next
to you at traffic lights), I replaced the injectors about two months
ago, but no difference, new fuel filter, flushed the engine, now done
the timing and still the same, only bit not replaced is the fuel pump.
Not checked compression to see if rings gone, no popping from the oil
filler cap? No water in oil, no excessive oil use (it is an old landy
after all).
Now at a complete loss, and may have to resort to taking to a garage??
