Hello all,

I just wanted to introduce myself. Im relatively new to the freelander scene. Brought my freelander a few months back just as a run around. Grew to love it, now plan on keeping it, have even got a second one for spares. Its a light blue td4 5 door.

Im interested in a few mods, the usual higher/wider/bigger wheels stuff. Upon research and a bit of ebaying, I have 30mm lift kit, 30mm wheel spacers (both still in kitchen/workshop and not fitted). The only problem I have (I think) is the bigger wheels and tyres bit. I much prefer steel rims over alloys, but the tyres on my 15" alloys are good, far too good infact. So, to cut a long rant short, its more just steel rims at present, untill tyres need to be changed then il just get a set of modular wheels and tyres. Anyway.... is there any non freelander steel rims that fit? Ive heard dihatsu fortrak and even suzuki sj wheels fit... I cant find anything to back it up, but the weller type wheels on an old SJ is just what I need.

I have a few DIY mods in store, all metal based, as I... well... make stuff from metal. And im growing a beard. Hence my name.

Anyways, intro over. I hope I can be welcomed into your community and receive some good advice.

Thank you
