New block or just replace head gaskets?

I have a range rover p38 4.6 v8 1999. I have stripped it down both heads have warped and need skimming, block seems ok, liners haven't dropped or cracked but do I put new block in with flanged liners? I don't want to do all this work and it go porous...

they crack behind liners cant be seen

If the engine has been hot enough to warp heads i would be very suspicious of block.

Thanks for that - in the process of changing block with new flanged liners. Block will be here next week, then rebuild.
