Hey im new to RR ownership, not bothered getting my hands dirty so took on a slightly unhappy p38 4.0se, sorted most thing and love it but i have a unadvertised problem which is bothering me and wondered if you guys could help!!!!!
right here we start
the engione heats up fine get to half way an the temp gauge is fine for 15-20 mins then starts moving up to red, will hover there for a while possibley getting in to the red but no warning light (just over the top white line), then will drop to second from top white line then up again hover for longer at top white line, then drop and so on!!! other times it will run like a dream and get to centre and not even flinch!!!!
it seems to use a little water and will do the same wether on petrol or lpg.
have checked the top hose when hot and seems not to be pressurised, but this is the extent of my rr knowlegde and my workshop manual hasnt turn up yet so any ideas would be v helpful
also my acon display has the snow flake on for the first 5 mins of the journey if this has any bearing i dont know!!!
