new and confused

hello
i am new to modifin etc and the 2 last nights i have been lookin on the forum for which will be the best sort of tyre on my disco 1 200tdi 1993 on steel wheels.

i no there has been loads of posts but there is so much info it has blagged me head a bit haha

as it is my everday car and also off roader i have found that the best sort are the AT tyre, i dont no what these are ? and yeh i do want some that are good off road and on road !!! also i need new caps for the steel wheels!

the bit that is confusin me is the sizes and then will i need to modify my car etc!!!

can you help me what is the biggest size that i can use with no mods?? or a good size to fit that will be minium mods
if i need to what to modify etc cuttin liftin ........

i am just startin to modify so any advice will be great

sorry if it has been posted before i couldnt find the answers !

look in The "Redhands font of all Knowledge" thread for "what size tyres can I put on my disco" it'll explain everything. AT's are known as All terrains and are suitable for on or off road use MT's are Mud terrains and are designed for vehicles that will spend a lot of time offroad.

1- read the tyre size guide
2 - go and buy some bf goodrich AT's in 235/65/16 (the standard size) or a copy of that pattern if the bf's are too much for ya wallet
