right alternator came today but its torrential here so have got it on between showers tested with car off read 12.03 or so and with car running its 13.9 thats about right then aint it?
before it was less when car was running than with it off!!
 
Sounds about right, it might go up to just over 14 volts if your lucky, but should drop down as the battery reaches full charge state.


Where abouts do you live, wrxfifer?
 
the battery has been on charge for around 36hrs and i fitted it same time and i live in glenrothes fife zzr thats why no one can help me i live in the twilight zone
 
seems to be running not too bad considering whats be done from a first time engine fixer lol just got some point cleaner gonna have a go at this obd2 socket see if i can get a connection!! suspension next task
 
Congrats!

You might well find all your electrical funnies might go away now, even the EAS software might work.

So are you going to offer to fix all the other members' Head gaskets for them now, seeing as you're the new expert? Might get your money back that way too!

mines not fixed yet lol
 
dont know any trails lol i will maybe look if i get the eas software to work still nothing!
