needed a bit of tlc, what did you do on your landy this weekend

so today being my first day off in a while as im self employed i dont get much time to play with my landy ''oggy'' and give him the tlc he deserves i do however keep up with maintenance but he is definitely due a restoration in the way of three doors and a windscreen and lots of other little bits but on the plus side i got some time today to have a tinker and do a job ive been wanted to do since i aquired oggy...... the chequerplate was looking tired with paint chips





so off to rip off halfords i went as all the trade places are closed ...useless so £27.00 later (with a trade card) i purchased this lot



and off came the wing protector



and i started with the nitromors




then a coat with the etch primer



and the satin black was applied





and the sills





even the pop rivets



end result

Very nice, Didn't manage anything this wwekend but next weekend going to redo the front grill and light surrounds
Can I be rude and ask if you know the paint code for your landy as mine is a blue but lighter and don't like it and wanted to paint it the darker blue the same as yours

Thanks I'm afraid I don't at present I'm sure I can find out for you, are you going to paint your panel finishers and grills or replace them?

Both as the light finishers are cracked

Not done anything to mine this weekend apart from driving in it, taking the long way round so the journey was longer lol... but next Saturday (12th) my Landy will be my wedding car!!!!! complete with ribbon and bows.....cant wait :O) Just hope the father in law drives her with care from my parents house to the the town hall......

I will post some pics when I've been sentenced lol.... if anyone is interested of course!

Fitted new stereo system, fitted cb radio and aerial, fitted new rear bench seats, fitted new rear interioe side pannels with net storage, fixed my water leak from my flip out fronts vents. Just got to fit my new door pannels now.

The only thing is....they put my name as James and not Jason lol....still my son was happy as thats his name lol.....
