need some opinions on my input gear/ shaft :-(

Hey guys, good evening. Ive had a clunk comein from ma gearbox area for a while now and its been gettin worse. So tonight i decided to pull the input gear and have alook. From what i can tell the prognosis is not good! But ive never dealt with this before and know nutin about gearboxs so am lookin for some advise on the situation and what to do next..... Will post pics of wat i found in just two tiks....... Also can i ask just how much free spin is normal in the back diff and gearbox/transfer box?

dunno TBH james martins your man to ask

thats worn on both sides lad, need a new input gear and and a new different gearbox (or rebuild yours) either way gearbox needs to come out im afraid... also going by the **** on the input gear its getting low on oil/the oil needs changing in the t/box.
