Need Some Extra Spark?

Hi All

My 95 110 starts fine most of the time.......However, if I have left it for a few days and it is cold weather (like now!) then it turns over really slowly and struggles to fire.

As it has new heater plugs I am guessing the battery is either knackered or too weak and feeble to turn a big old tdi lump.

Can anyone recommend a good heavy duty to fit and where best (ie cheapest - I am tight Yorkshire man) to source one.

Numax 1000cca marine leisure starting battery (google it), either that or a decent size normal battery, something like a 100 battery...

mines a huge normal battery, cost me just over £100.
Find a battery specialist, or a proper motor factors, twill be a darn site cheaper than halfauds etc.

Might also be worth checking the lift pump

Diaphram can weaken allowing fuel to drain back causing engine to take longer to fire
