hi need some advice on replacing the stereo on my 2004 harback td4 sport premium , ive gone through the joy of removing the standard headunit

and im now at the point of the new head unit wired to the old loom via iso but cant seem to get the amplifier under the seat to power up i was wondering if i would need some sort of adaptor for this

any advice info would be much appreciated

You may be missing the switched +12v from the old head unit. Depending on make of original stereo the wire could be in with the plug from the pre amp line out plug.
