can anybody tell me how many bolt holes the standard landrover series 3 has on its flywheel?

I am putting an engine back into a Landrover (its a conversion to a non landy engine  )and whoever did the conversion gave me the wrong flywheel.

there are 6 holes evenly spaced and a timing hole (is it a timing hole?) on the engine

the flywheel I have been given has 8 holes, and no timing hole

so which setup is the landy one?

cheers

2.0 litre isuzu diesel (I think its a C190)

sounds like the flywheel I have is a Landrover one, although it doesn't have the locating dowel you mentioned

I presume you'll need the Isuzu flywheel to allow the starter motor to fit, Then you have to sort out a suitable clutch cover and plate.
