need help bottom rad hose

hi all right had me head gasket done about 3 months ago got it back and decided to change stat its a big plastic one with 3 connectors on it

my question is the bottom rad hose that comes out of radiator and into the bottom of the plastic stat houseing dosent get warm or hot its always seems to be cold is this ok the top hose gets hot as dose the other one on top os houseing any help thanks

sounds like you have an air lock or serious problems! i sujest you get a defender

So long as its plumbed this way and your temp gauge is normal, I wouldnt worry

mine did this change the stat for a grey one ,different colours have different temp values.
bleed system from heater hoses to expel any air
run car in town and see if hose gets hot as the air flow through the rad will cool it quite a bit. hope this helps
