I have a 2001 Range rover P38 fitted with a sat Nav. This system has worked well and although dated by modern systems, is a useful piece of kit to have in the car.
I had been cleaning the car out with the doors open and this resulted in the battery going flat. Following the usual procedure to disconnect the battery and then re-charging the battery. On reconnection the navigation screen has lost its brightness. Can see the information like maps etc are still there but very dark and difficult to read.
The battery charging may have no connection with the problem but the system was working before the flat battery.
Anyone got any idea on whats gone wrong and what is the fix?
