i recently noticed a severe vibration when accelarating at low speed in 3rd gear. On inspection i noticed that the lower engine tie rod had perished bushes allowing the engine to swing severely when under drive. I changed the faulty tie rod with a new one and the severe engine swing has gone. However the car still has a nasty vibration when you accelerate from around 20ish in 3rd then take your foot of the accelerator. It's almost like the vibration is coming from the drive or prop shaft but on inspection there is no play on either.
The car is drivable and there is no loss of speed or performance.
Does anyone have any idea what avenue of investigation i can go down next?
