Sorted out my Turbo problems and went for a test run to a localt day gave it a good work out by going over a 3100 meter pass and all went well and came down the other sideand was going along a relativly flat when an engine knock started so imediatly checked and stopped but not before i developed into a terminal knock and had to get the RR transported back to Bishkek,I havnt got to the problem yet but i think its either big end or piston.
Does any one know of a parts supplier of these parts and also ineed to get them out here I think DHL have a office here .salsomay have to get a reground crank from somewhere,I may even have to fly back to the UK to pick them up or I may just have to scap it here but i dont want to do that,
If anyone has a used engine BMW M51 turbo diesel that coud be stripped for parts please let me know as i would fully overhaul this on when I get it back/
