Hiya mate. i have had an overheating problem with my 4.6ltr lpg. only overheated after standing in traffic. Changed the waterpump, thermostat and viscous coupling. All seemed fine til yesterday. Travelling back from cornwall, after 2 hrs started to overheat .Stopped the car let it cool and waited 10mins before releasing pressure on header. I could hear air bubbling away, like it had an air lock. Started engine, and ran it from tavistock to blackpool no problem at all. This morning topped up a bit and started great, ran all day. But i did notice the lpg clicked over much quicker at a lower setting on the temp gauge, so something has changed. Im convinced there was an air lock, also noticed the top hose doesnt feel as solid as it did, so im not worried about it being headgasket anymore. Anyway, just thought i would tell my story....
