Mysterious Oil Weep???????? 4.6

Right all, this is doing my head in.

I have an oil leak which I have traced back to the point on the block where the engine number and dipstick are (just in front). Re-sealed the dipstick, very confident it isn't the source of the leak.

Its clean oil too, and not much at all. not enough to drip on the floor. The engine has done 3000 miles (touch wood) without missing a beat since rebuild over xmas. This is the only bug bear.

I have checked all the front casing seems clean, the cam sensor, rocker gaskets.

Anyone had a similar problem, its as if its appearing from between the head and block? The oil way to the head is miles away.

Any thoughts?

I think I am going insane, I keep getting degreaser and cleaning the side of the engine, spray on, flush off. Its part of my thing, clean to start with helps you identify any other problems. AARRGGHHHH!
