Hello everyone!
I just need a little bit of advice if you don't mind please,
Just when I thought I'd plugged all the leaks another one sprung up, but this one is strange.

It's dripping from the front behind the radiator, however there is nothing leaking on the front of the engine, or from any pipes around it. So, before I go taking it all apart AGAIN! Can anyone tell me if there are any pipes that run through the frame? Between the engine and Rad there is some frame/chassis and my thoughts are that a PAS pipe runs through that? Although it's leaking quite a bit, and no PAS fluid or Engine oil has dissapeared this oil must be coming from somewhere.

I have been letting it leak and watching to see what fluid goes down but nothing has lol.
Anyway if anyone can offer help on if a line or pipe runs through that frame that would be handy please.

Oh, and I have tried to examine the oil to see what kind it is but to me I can't tell if it's engine or PAS they both seem to feel the same and this oil that's dripping has no smell but it's 100% some kind of oil. Not Coolant or water.

Thanks! If I find out and fix it before anyone replies I'll just post an update :)

Easiest to check is the front camshaft oil seal - the big black round disc on the front of the head, the seal doesn't last very long and oil leaks, hits the fan and goes everywhere.

Power steering pipes run across the front chassis rail under the radiator from the reservoir to the steering box, they also corrode over time

oil - black

PS fluid - Red or black if very old

I've just changed the PAS fluid with my last service a few months ago when I put the new Turbo on, but only done about 100miles so both engine oil and PAS are still like new. The PAS is Genuine Land Rover and is dark green, Engine oil is still gold.
I also replaced both of the Camshaft covers, the front one was indeed leaking as it was about to fall out.
I've looked and the front of the engine is bone dry and still clean from when I cleaned it.

My sus****ions are a PAS pipe that is corroding but I haven't had time to follow them yet, so if I can find out on here that would save me a lot of time lol.

Thanks your your reply!

Or green if you use Land Rover cold weather fluid.
That's what I have.

Have you got ACE fitted, If I recall correctly the ACE system has pipes running across the front x member ?
Nope I don't have ACE.

I haven't had time to investigate yet either, hopefully this weekend I will, It'll probably be a PAS pipe that's a pain to get and a pain to replace...

At least they sell them!
When the pipe went on my Focus RS I had to search scrap yards and in the end has to buy the whole steering assembly :(
Ford said they don't do them anymore.
