now for the new engine ! the standard alternator didn't look up to the job, so i've fitted a bigger one.

the diesel engine didn't belong to me, my petrol 2.25 was fooked, so we put a temp engine in. sorry we're keeping the diesel one as a spare for any of our landy's.

most of the bulkhead was rebuilt yesterday, whilst i sit and played with the wiring - which is all done. the starter motor turned her over from the key, so we know that part is ok :) lol

i fitted an electric fan in front of the rad, just got to finish off the wiring for that today.

looks like a pretty cool project. hope you've been looking at this pockets!

im looking with loads of interest right now!!!

what modding/cutting did you have to do??
mine had a v8 in it a couple of years ago, so i guess mine has been modded already.
i wish it still had a v8..................hmmmmmmmmm

i can second what marcus said, mine needs plenty of choke on start up and i reckon it costs a fiver each time.lol but theres no other sound like it.mind you i did think of fitting a cherry bomb on mine but already have half the village moaning when i fire it up.
