Thought I’d throw up a little thread of my TD5.
I purchased this from a lovely gentlemen down in Cornwall back in March, after always wanting one from when I seen them back when I was a young boy. I recovered a TD5 on my recovery truck on the 27th of February with gear box issues and two weeks later I had one...... at least a broken one didn’t put me off
Paul, the previous owner had most the work carried out before I owned it, I was fortunate enough that he had it up for a price I couldn’t resist and I had to have it, all round the trip down and back to Canterbury was completed in just over 24hours with a few hours kip in a hotel!!
Chassis, bulk head and rear cross member and rust free!
Full respray.
Exmoor trim carpet set throughout.
Exmoor sport seats with LR logo / matching cubby box.
Uprated intercooler with silicone hoses throughout.
KBX grille kit with top intakes.
LED lights all round bar head lights.
Chassis has been buzzwelded.
EGR blank.
Remap for better fuel consumption.
30mm wheel spacers.
Chequer plate on bonnet colour coded.
Front bar with daylight led running lights.
It’s amazing to drive and surprising fast for what is it although I’m happy to sit at 40 and just take it all in!
