hello well last month or i brought a 109 series 3 ex mod for my first car . i picked it up for 600 and it needed quite a bit of work doing to it the rear crossmember was shagged the only good peices of metal on it was where the tow bar was the rest just crumbled when i tapped it with a hammer. then the rear petrol tank outriggers were tatered too so i replaced them and did some repairing on the bulkhead outrigger on the drivers side which i caught just in the nick of time. it also had a dent in the drivers wing which i knocked out then the wing decided it wasnt the right one and wouldnt sit right on the chassis :mad: and was sitting low so i sorted it best i could. got a overhaul kit for the breaks and replaced them all and the cylinders inside.
few more little jobs need doing for the MOT
jus need to get some new seatbelts ( i dont know if it could have lapbelts but im guessing it does because the 3pt belts that are in it now dont look right)
weld some patches onto some holes in the footwells
get a 24v flasher unit again after blowing 3 of them tryin to wire it up
i currently got the 34" weber tipo on it which i dont like at all been reading up on them and aparently they strangle performance ? so im gonna get a zenith and rebuild it or make/buy a manifold and have a twin choke weber on it ( my dads putting one on his mg bgt 2.0 pinto atm and it looks a good carb)
that is all have a look at my pics and a laugh at my crappy welding ( im not used to the mini-MIG my dads got)
