Hi folks! Here is my new RR. It's a 2002 52 plate Vogue TD6 in Monte carlo blue with parchment extended leather, sat nav tv etc etc. I have had it two days now and I am in love. Will be getting some better pics soon, but you get the idea.

2 days ownership and it has been keyed down the drivers door:mad:. Popped into the shop for ten mins and returned to that. Reported it to the police and they have cctv of the car park so fingers crossed!

congrats on the new Range Rover!!

I really like that colour but I cant believe some keyed it though, I had exactly the same thing on mine not so long ago on the rear panel below the boot window - a nice 6-7 inch key mark. Never found out who did it though :( Cost me £60 to get it fixed from my local coachwork guy who has looked after all my family's cars when they have had marks and scratches. Was probably one of the green brigade!!

Is that how its going to stay or have you got any mods etc in mind for it??

Hi Wills, thanks for your comments. The key thing is very annoying but I refuse to let it dampen my new ownership.
As for modifications I am looking at a set of 22" Overfinch tiger alloys, Full pentagon tints, Supercharger rear light conversion, and maybe later on look at fitting a full overfinch aerodynamics pack.

Your RR is really good looking, I like p38 with the later alloys. Have you had it long??

When are you taking it off road?? :D

That's a job for the Disco,(last time off road it cost me a drivers door and suspension airbag, need lessons). Hence I feel the RR is gonna be a tarmac trodder!!:D

In fact I have been looking for a classic to off road!:)

Nice one on the tinted windows, I think all new Range Rovers should have tinted windows, they just look better with them. Not sure about the 22" wheels though, but each to their own, I like to take mine off-road, I see you dont have plans for that with yours so the large wheels are cool for you :)

Ive had my Range Rover since Feb 06 and since then Ive become poor, very poor - still love it though :D

LR wouldn't go bigger than 18" on diesels at that time, something to do with vibration at tick over I think.
Probably someone's already done it and can advise
