All P38's need work, if I was closer I would happily buy that one off you. I don't see anything there that is not fixable with a bit of time and effort.
Tbh i want to keep it i’m going to order up a seal kit and try and replace the easy ones, sure it can be changed without taking pump off, ill send becm away for repairs if its broke and ill try sort out the leak once i get the carpet out

Forget the BECM for the moment, get a dehumidifier in the car and get it dry, you may find that the faults magically disappear once it has dried out. If you do need the BECM fixed, Rich the Pick is your man.
For the FIP, clean up all round to see where the leaks is, often it's just the top cover O ring that has to be replaced, had to do that on both mine recently. Also check for diesel in the injector wells indicating faulty leaky off pipes.

Well since i lifted the carpart and took seat base off my window has went back up, ive not got a dehumidifier so will get wet vac out and place heater in the car to dry it out more, the water tastes tangy and the carpet is only wet on the door side its not wet under pedals centre console side walls ect so it cant be the heater matrix, i spayed the pump with break cleaner and its done dry its leaking from one of the injector hoses

Failed leak off pipes is a very common problem. Gates fuel hose is recommended by most. Nice easy job, you may need to remove the manifold.

Hi mate what should the voltage be? I did use my working van battery when going to collect it what is fully working, i think I’m going to need to take the becm out anyway as I can’t get the window up and here in scotland we have 4 seasons in one day,

yeah it will polish up nicely bodywork looks really good tbh just hope i can get it sorted

I wouldn't touch the BECM. It is pretty solid. The boards should ve sealed and the plugs aren't that bad unless the footwell is full of water or damp I wouldn't worry.

Wipers might be damp. If it has wipers on the headlights make sure they are parked. Battery should be about 12.6V when you get to it.

Leaking diesel above the tank not common. More likely the leak off pipes in the engine bay.

Leave the BECM alone.,!!!
A new battery will help with a lot of faults 9 times out of 10.
Google "P38 window switches" repair. MartyNZ did a quick write up about cleaning the switch contacts, they build up a glaze that stops the function and is an easy clean. Cheaper and 1st easier task than messing with motors and outstations.
Glad to see another one saved from the parts pirates, unusual colour.. like it.!!!

Looks like she’s seen a lot of love in the past. Dry it out, get the battery volts up to scratch, and the diesel going into the engine rather than on it, she’ll soon start behaving betterer. Sometimes the filler neck to the tank rots out if there is a leak around there. Not a big job or expense. Keep the pics coming ;)
