Any thoughts? I know a lot of people don't like the new shape defenders for being Transit vans, but I like Transit vans too! She's a 2007 90 County with roughly 39k on the clock... Drove perfect, no worrying noises, full service history, and some nice off road toys already bolted to her. Asking 13,750. Only worry was a tiny tiny bit of surface rust on the rear cross-member, but nothing beyond what you would expect I think. Mostly black, with a dusting of orange here and there. Should have taken a photo

So I've put down a deposit and am trekking all the way back to Manchester to pay the $$ and fill out the forms tomorrow.

If anyone thinks I've made a horrible mistake (considering I'm getting rid of my loverly old (but constantly broken) v8 disco for this) tell me now before I actually go and get it :p

I can also get some more piccies, it was a wee bit wet today

I'm also gonna have to start venturing into the defender section of the forum now :behindsofa:

looks nice mate :) would like a nice shiny new quiet one but can't afford it, tbh i'd buy a d3 for that money but its what you want mate, as long as you're happy that's all that matters :) enjoy !

Aye I thought about a D3, but they have such high mileage at that price, I'd be constantly worried of breaking down! But Cheers :D

Damn... I'll be in a secure car park for the time being, but will have to do something about it soon! Thanks for the heads up

very nice like the colour to, see you in the fender section;),as long as your happy with it thats all that matters, enjoy it and have fun with it,if it where me i would defo get a top of the range alarm system and tracker for it tho;)

I don't have any 'Thoughs', but I do have a thought!

Car salesmans Golden Rule: Never make a decision on a viewing of a vehicle in the rain!

Rain can hide an awful lot.

I know it's difficult in this wonderful summer of ours, but do try to see it in the dry, before parting with your hard-earned!

Good advice. I did, and you were right. There's one scratch on the drivers side wheel arch... But that's it :D

I'll get me garage to take a proper look at her soon.

Re looking in the rain, its not just that it hides a lot, but you're less inclined to look as hard (do you really want to be looking underneath in the rain)
