My landy progress thread

Got my new landy on Tuesday it's a 1985 90 ex AA it's got a disco 200tdi engine disco rear axles with the disc brakes and that's pretty much it got mainly cosmetic things to do.

The speedo doesn't work:| and the seats are in the state that you would expect, and one door needs a new bottom to the frame so that what I was doing today

always nice to see one in worse condition than mine!
Have been doing doors myself today.... Welding nearly all done.

Just totted up the cost for all new window felts, seals and lifter channels. £100. Could have bought new series doors for not much more!

Cheers dan that will be a lot of help I've cut out all of the rotten frame now do just got to get the replacement bit and weld it in

And now having fun trying to get the speedo to work :S not quite sure what is wrong the speedo works when I turn it with a drill the cable work when I turn it with a drill so thinking it could possibly something in the transfer box unless you guys know any different things it could be?

Fitted some new lights today xenon bulbs and got a few little things. But my main purchase so far waiting for them to come is a set of seats this includes two front seats a cubby box and bench seats all in the this trim!!

So it is all go and hopefully will have it insured by April and on the road!!
