Question. Is it okay to paint the springs? I thought they worked best when oiled and greased up? Anyone got any opinions on this as I would love to paint my S3 springs.

painting springs should be ok as i have owned leaf sprung trailers since i was a nipper wich the oldest i had was 50 yr old ive always painted the springs on them with no problems so landy springs shouldnt be any different

but as you said its just my opinion and experience im sure someone else will say different :cool:;);)

Keep the 2 and a quarter, and buy similar wing mirrors to what it had on it, nothing worse than a series with 90 wing mirrors. Looks AWFUL
