I am looking at setting up a help Blog as well as trying to get a stand and 1 or 2 land rover shows (using my Nene overlland) 110 for the photos and info as well as taking it to shows to help people spot waht to look out for when going to a dealer

would any Land Rover dudes on here be willing to help with info and advice (i will look on all the other forum posts and get info from them as well)

just trying to get the info out to people that it can now help before the get riped off by Nene

Nene Overland update - after lots of calls to the finance firm and nene as well as consumer direct they all say the same thing you have to give nene a change to fix the issues on this 110

So I got it sorted for nene to come and pick up this 110 from me and give me a loan 110 and this is the outcome

5 weeks later they drop it back off and they supply me with a list of work done and it looked good they have sorted out the lights, speaker and may have even stopped the water coming in as well as getting a bit of paint on to cover up the rust

However now 50% of the time it now will not start EPIC FAIL NENE

I did call them and they say they will take it back and fix it however i and taking advise on how I can return this to them and get my deposit back


I would advise anyone to NEVER DEAL WITH BOTH Nene Overland or the new ICON brand they have now set up - Over priced, Poor work, shamfull aftersales,

Will update when I have more info and thanks for all the help and advice on here when I get my next Land Rover I will be getting info from you all first

in future if anyone comes here for info on Nene I am happy to fill them in

Nene now say I must give them my 110 to fix and still will not refund my cash

leaves me no other choice than to look into taking them to court to get my cash back

I have asked them (twice now) if the 110 sold to me was of the normal quality they supply they will not get back to me !!!

Get a good solicitor , the longer you leave it the better for them

Yes sadly I feel they once more will get away with ripping some one off with poor quality goods :fighting2:
