Hi all.
Been around Land Rovers for 30years now. First car was series 2a lwb, then an ex Australian army series 3, 6 cly petrol, then a 2 door RR classic, then built my own 100 in RR series hybrid, then a 2 door discovery 1 tdi, restored a 1972 series 2a cab chassis that ended up in with a collector in the US, 4 door discovery 1 V8, 4 door RR classic LWB, Discovey 4 tdv6.
I currently have a defender 110 1993 2 door V8 on LPG with twin lockers and 37in tyres.
I'm looking at purchasing a defender130 to set up, or already set up, as a tourer to see Australia. I haven't had anything to do with the defenders with the Ford 2.4 or 2.2 diesel so I'll be picking peoples brains regarding their problems, the solutions and how to keep them going strong.
Should be fun learning about the last of the breed as we start to find out about how the new boy on the block goes out in the bush.
