Drove my first proper landrover LWB in Wales as a ranger in 1988 full of school kids and me still a teenager ! Always wanted one since. My first was a RR Classic 3.5 V8 LPG converted. Loved it until I stuffed it up the rear end of trailer being towed with no lights. Then changed to a tdi300 Disco, ran that for a few years until the head gasket packed up on the m1 with two toddlers in the back and rather unhappy partner in the copilot seat. Traded up to a 6 month old Disco 3 which I have owned for 12 years and finally decided to buy a Defender and sell the LR3.
So Im here, with a new to me TD5 CSW 2002 registered parked out front and putting together a 'repairs to do list' page 3 alrerdy after 48 hrs ownership.
