Gotta love an ex mod!
Just stuck a 300tdi and pas in mine as well as defender seats, side windows and a headlining. Wife still don't like it which means there is one less whine to listen to when I drive it!!!

FWIW mate it seems to have had a Comms role. It's got dexion shelving in the back, Coax grommets for a candelabra and TUAM mounts in the quarters. It wouldn't have been too 'tactical' because you would normally use a 110 to fit all the required kit in it.

FFR is Fitted for radio. We used to have 4 x batteries linked under that shelving behind the rear bulkhead.

You can make a freedom of information request to the MOD
email this email and state your the keeper and you want to make a freedom of information request. Send the details from the plate on the side of the seat tub - they need the military registration not the dvla one.

I had the new bench seats fitted in the back, to be fair I think the mat does it a lot of justice.
