my diesel freelander has cut out

Hi, Can Anyone Help I Have A 53 Reg Diesel Freelander And I Went Over A Speed Hump In The Road Then It Cut Out,
Ive Tried Towing It To Start But Nothing Although The Engine Turns But Doesnt Start,
Ive Also Noticed A Black Wire Running To The Filter Housing Underneath The R W Arch Has Corroded And Become Detached,maybe An Earth Wire,
Will This Have Anything To Do With It

Please Help If You Can,im Hoping It Has A Cut Out Switch That Needs Resetting But ????????????????????

Bets its yer cut out fuel switch ,lift bonnet at back rhs red button, , read yer hand book or heinz manwell , un reset it . . . . . . .

Ive Changed Filter,fixed Loose Wire To Fuel Pump But Still No Start,
Seems No Fuel Getting To The Injectors

reet switch on ignition only wiff bonnet up put hand on pump ,rhs near rh wheel arch should vibrate fer bout 12-20 secs then stop. . .un get back an i will tells yer more. . . . .

NO . . . .see typical earthling ,jumps to the werst conclusion, let ming continue. . . .if no vibration is felt from said front fuel pump wiff yer ign on . . . . .then check the fuel pump fuse ,if that is good ,then check yer fuel pump relay ,you should feel it click wiff[ ing ] in the on position but its a timed out format , , , ,ie it gits a signal from a pressure sensor to say ,yup i have fuel pressure [bout 12-20secs] depending on how good the pump is. . . . .now earthling this same signal operates the rear pump aswell . . . . .

Problem Solved It Was A K Nackered Pump, £120 Plus Vat But As I Drive ,the Very Odd Occasion It Slows Down And Loses Power As If Air In System Or Fuel Starvation,then Picks Up Again,
I Did Have This Problem Afor I Renewed Pump So Its An Old Problem That Wint Go Away,
