Next Tuesday I'll be happily (it's under warrenty) leaving my 2005 td4 in the mechanic to have a few issues looked at.
1. Aircon spits water through vents.
2. Weird electrical behaviour as seen in strange buzzing noise behind instrument panel on turning the car on before engine start-up, rear door that erratically locks/unlocks (only happened once after getting car wet jumping in puddles - silly me), and rear window wiper refusing to shut off and only doing so after turning off car and restarting.
3. Brief (1 o 2 second) power losses at around 2500 revs which I don't know if are normal or not. (never driven a turbo before???)

So, anything intelligent I can say as I toss over the keys to point the mechanic on his way? Or should I wait for his verdict?
I'd love to have this silly niggles fixed as the car runs great and I'm having a fun time with it.

Make sure you get all these items sorted,as they are all on the exspensive side, and like a lot of us have years of trouble free motoring. . . .:) :) :)

Well, thanks for the replies. The rear wiper problem is already solved by finding out it's not a problem.I thought that the rear wiper didn't stop when I wanted it to. However, It was something I noticed every morning as I reversed out of my garage cleaning the front window with the wipers. I have just discovered that in reverse and with front wipers on, the rear wipers work. Me: 0, Freelander: 1.

And yes Willo, regards the spitting aircon, after reading through the info on myfreelander.com, it seems that a faulty condense pipe will be the issue there.

I'm curious to see what they say about the brief power losses.
