My 1982 Series 3 SWB updates and pictures

Hi everybody. My name is Umut, from Turkey. I own a 82 Series 3 SWB 2.25 gasoline with LPG conversion. I bought it this summer and start to restore and update slowly... Here are some pictures from older to newer

The day I bought it:

Simplifying it:

After installation of Smith's heater and BLOS LPG conversion kit:

I have also a Fairey overdrive and ZF P38 steering box waiting to be fitted to my Landy

We only need time and money

Very nice and clean. Shows what they can look like without snow/and salt getting to them. Bet that chassis is in great shape

Does look very nice indeed! I was trying to work out the windscreen wiper mechanism on the outside of the bulkhead - looks slightly different to UK spec.

Thanks, yes there is no rust on the chassis. There was only a few below bulkhead, I made them repaired.

They are chassis mounted and very strong. I think that its jackable

Just the one safety issue, the wolf wheels need the longer studs. The rest does you proud.

Thanks for the notice but these are not Wolf wheels, just 6.5 inch standard Defender wheels with holes. Local military Defender factory (Otokar) now producing these wheels as standard on 2013 Defenders...For original Nato spec Wolf wheels yeah you are right.
