My 1976 Land Rover Series 3 88" Diesel

Hi everyone!!!

New to the forum today but just introducing myself and my Land Rover.

The Land underwent a 2yr restoration about 10 years ago and is soon about to be overhauled again (properly) as the budget wasn't great back then. I've attached a walk around video of the Series below.

It's the standard 2.25 diesel, slow but reliable!!!

Gooing to put the original wheels back on and a sensible set of tyres. Maybe repaint it the proper Limestone colour it used to be. Also wouldn't mind a new rear-crank oil seal to be honest!!!

....and lose the "auto-waxoyl-while-you-drive"?

Got to sort my disco out for leaks. I swear it was built without any gaskets or seals, but at 125k miles I should expect that old Bruce will be leaving the occasional puddle here and there

True!!! Mine leaves an awful puddle of 20w50 on the garage floor after a run!!!

I think if I ever get it to stop leaking, I'll start worrying there's no oil left in there

Haha, absolutely! I was pleasantly surprised to find my overdrive oil level hadn't dropped since rebuild about 18 months ago. Score!
