Mudflap

Hello, Can anybody tell me what series my Mudflap is from? The Logo is cut into the rubber, where all others I have seen are the opposite? Thanks Martin.

Is that not for the extra special mudflaps that have the yellow writing? You can achieve the same thing with a yellow paint pen, I did this with mine and instantly increased their value ten fold!

But as for Op's question I have also only seen the ones with raised lettering before rather than inset.

I'm toying with the idea of buying a pair of truck mudflaps and cutting them down to suit and are fairly cheap on ebay

Choose a big pair you can do all four wheels ...

I think I have a pair of early series mud flaps in the loft?

They all crack in a line under the mounting holes.

If you are going to do that you just need to acquire some old conveyor belt rather than buying some mudflaps to cut down. I am currently doing the same thing with the smaller "mudflaps" that protect outriggers and rear crossmember as part of the body work. I am debating weather to then add some proper mudflaps as well. I have never had them on the 110 but they are fitted to the td5.
These are the outrigger mudflaps I made copied the idea from the from Gwyn lewis ones (link) from some old belt to protect the footwell and outrigger.

Job lot of stuff on ebay I just found containing yellow, raised lettered mudflaps. Solid gold.

I've decided to buy another new set but just the rears this time with the idea of before i fit them is to make a template and buy some conveyer belt and make a set from the template

Haha no but i have fitted a new set of rears and made a cardboard template and will be getting some conveyer belt rubber

You can buy truck spray flaps, which might be easier and lighter than conveyor belt, you can also get spray suppression which all the trailers use.

Just painted mine a few days ago.... I got them 20 years ago, still look like new

Fitted flaps like dag's above only a bit longer thirty, yes thirty years ago. Flap folded on the left and you can see footwell that still has original paint on it. Original outrigger with just a small welded patch on the outer end.
