Hi All,
After de cat on my 300tdi usual increase in performance and big reduction on fuel, 34-36mpg. So, a couple of months later and I remove EGR valve, now she only does 26 mpg. Have sealed the blanking plate so am completely miffed why this has happened, any ideas???????

I am having the same symptoms except for myself both the de-cat and egr removal were done at the same time. But I can definatlt see a big increase of fuel comsumption
since. Could it be that I haven't touch the fuel pump ater those mods?

cant help u guys . but hope u can help me . im removing my egr at the weekend on my 94 300tdi disco . what do i do with the leads once i remove valve and hoses ? also what should i use to clean my inlet manifold which if half blocked with crap

lead is just hanging in the engine bay on mine.
To clean my intercooler (also gunked up) i poured a couple of litres of thiners in it, lit it and left it outside for about an hour to burn. Did the job lovely.
Taking my inlet manifold off and going to do the same with that.
