Does anyone know if there is a way to set the driver side seat further back from factory settings? My seats are power and heated and I would just like a little more leg room. Didn't know if there were factory holes to set the seats further back from under the Discovery II 99?

Before anyone ask why I recently broke my leg in 3 places and @ this time is my only way for transportation and I'm 6"3 and I'm having room problems in the front seat driving to work. I was hoping for an easy move the seat to different holes maybe already there but @ this time I am not able to get underneath the LR to get a better look.

NO there isn't but you could unbolt the seats and fit a flat bar to the seat runner then drill and bolt this to the seat frame. To acccess the seat mounting bolts you move the seat as far back as it will go. and remove the bolt from the centre of the seat runner. Then move seat as far forwards as it wil go and remove the bolts from the rear of the seat runners. The seat will then lift away and you can attach a length of flat bar to the runners leaving enough bar protruding at the front to allow you to bolt it back onto the seat frame. Then wind the seat all the way forwards again and drill through the runners/bar and into the seat frame at the rear.

Ere Pikey - yu forgot - just behind the seat frames is a stiffening section that runs across the complete width of the Disco - yu cant move the seat frames any further back without cutting that strengthener out or lifting the seat by about 60mm!

the only way i reckon you could do it - would be to move the seat back on the mounting frame - and that wouldnt be very stable - or strong.
