Information to novice buyers.............From one who is learning fast.

Rusted through rear lights , hole in nearside upper wing, rusty tailgate, rusty door sills, sagging seats.
Don't touch it... What are the sills like when you take the plastic off, still got a floor pan ? etc. etc. etc.
Why spend so much on a rusty heap look around for a better one.

I was given mine by someone who did not want to spend money on an old car ... lucky eh!. But you can buy one for a few hundred and in better condition than the advertised item.

Mine still needs work although you can't see any body rust at all take a look underneath and it's a different matter, RUST everywhere although only surface rust found so far, it will be a big job and loads of rust treatment to stop the old rust bug.
Don't forget the other mechanical failures, mine has had a fuel pump failure costing almost 300 pounds followed a short while later by ignition failure that I fixed myself , still cost me another 150 for parts.
My total bill so far is 987.63,For a free car and I have jet to do the brakes, springs, dampers, bushes etc.
Add to this she likes to drink petrol at a staggering rate and you don't exactly have an economy vehicle.
Always expect the unexpected and keep your toolbox handy.
Why bother ?
Well I havn't given up on my wife yet an she needs loads of attention as well.
So if you can do it for one you can do it for two just as cheaply and hope you get a good ride out of both of them.

Good luck and loads of tinkering, just like the old days.
