Decided to leave the TD5 dash on - it was in a lot better condition than my old 1988 version. Electrics were a pig but it looks real good now.

The bulkhead had four coats of etch primer, four coats of paint and was filled upside down with waxoyl - as can now be seen on my drive!

Used the existing clocks just (understatement) changed the warning switch, rear window heater, internal light and then used the clock wiring for the radio. The plan was to wire the spots in but never got around to it.

Split charge system using another vehicle battery with the components from vehicle wiring products. Rated at 70amp with its own distribution box all for under £40. If anyone wants the part numbers and diagram just ask and I'll add them to this thread.

Running water at the back door using whale parts, sourced from fleabay.

Working on a rear drawer at the moment.

Fitted a rear drawer today (full description in the expedition section). All done for £45.
