Another years trouble free motoring looms ahead.

Whilst I was waiting I studied the "new regulations" poster they had stuck to the wall. There are a lot of new rules!

It's as if the government wanted people to keep buying new cars instead of repairing their old ones.
 
In other words buy an EU made car on credit (keeps us funding Europe and the banks in credit) with the promise of free or cheap tax and the when you are tied in, scrap the free tax and revert to the PLG grouping (money in the Treasury). Clever, eh? Fortunately a lot of the new MOT regs don't really affect the older Range Rovers and besides it will always remain 'in the opinion of the tester'. We RR owners pay enough in fuel tax anyway.
