MOT nightmare

Well, I have the beast back after the MOT work and she is now a little bit heavier with all the welding needed. Set me back about £800 in total with £400 of that for the welding. Also sorted elecs and new tyre. Thanks for all the advice. I am now going to fit a tracker and I am buying a stoplock pro and DNA marking a lot of the parts.

Have you never heard of window etching as a security measure?

No, not your name silly, what happens when you sell it ?

The VIN or registration number ...

Many Police services have free etching services, as do some of the window replacement companies such as Autoglass ...

You can do it yourself, but it looks better done by a professional ...

Glass etching is not really a deterrent if the vehicle is going to be broken to parts and shipped abroad and it is only on the glass. I have used https://www.selectadna.co.uk/dna-asset-marking/dnavehicle and slapped it on everything including wheels, likes. seats, lights.
