The old 93 defender goes for MOT net week, so fingers crossed as usual.
I was chatting to the guy on the phone and he told me there are some new items being added as of April this year, most significantly to do with warning lights.
Basically if you have an airbag light on, or engine warning light on, or ABS light on, etc etc - then as of now it will be an advisory, and as of April this year it will fail.
I know a lot of cars around 10 years ish old have airbag faults, and these are often very expensive to identify and / or reset.
Worth knowing anyway. I am not sure what the other changes are.
