Morocco Spare Parts

Hi,
I'm currently in a hotel in casablanca. I need a new bottom pulley for a 200tdi engine. Turns out if you drop a 200tdi in a series and fit parabolics the pully hits the axle just before she bottoms out. Any suggestions of where to get parts over here?

I tried SMEIA but they had nothing for a 200TDI. I'm now in Marrakech and the fan belt has gone again. I'm hauled up just on the outskirts. Hopefully can find a scrapy and new fan belts in the morning. Any suggestions for Marrakech. Thanks for your help thus far.

Hope you found your parts ok...the 'feraille' massive complex of scrap/second hand parts dealers in casablanca have big range of parts...many police and army vehicles here are landys so a fair bit available..but smeia landrover franchises have little for anything other than evoques or rangies...they have very little for200/300tdi

we got it sorted in marrakesh, and bigger bump stops are now fitted to stop it happening again!

glad to hear all sorted...smeia quoted me last friday 1111dirhams (about 90quid) for a drop arm ball joint repair pack for a defender....only one in stock in the whole country...uk price at about a fiver...

I found a top notch spare parts establishment in agadir yesterday..seems to have lots of bits for 200/300tdis plus other makes...CICA (Comptoir Industriel et Commercial D'agadir) , av al mouquaouama, tel 0661333852, 0661333854, 0528225160..Ibrahim (french/arabic only) knew his landy's

And in Rabat you have 'Salmi Pieces Autos' 50m from the main bus terminal (gare routier), 4 avenue le kifah, rabat 10150, tel 0537794871, 0537791310, [email protected] quite a bit of stuff for 200/300tdis, lots of bearmach parts etc..expect to pay around double the uk prices for the same bit

Hi, I am going to Marrakech next week and need my auto gearbox taken out and some gasket changed. Staying for 9 days so thought it would be ideal to have some work done - did you find a good 4x4 mechanic in Marrakech? Have previously had some work done on my 1995 Disco 300 TDI ES Auto in Zagora by Ali Racing (first rate job), but this time only going as far as Marrakech.
Do not really want to go to the Land Rover dealer there but rather a cheaper option like Ali Racing (will probabaly need 20+ hours work)...

Any suggestions highly welcome
