Thanks, glad you liked :) Do it!

The camonet came about from our first trip (Mongolia) where the organisers had a quirk that was to put something interesting/different on the roof - so we decided a camo net for some reason. It does create discussion, people coming over and feeling it and all sorts, we quite like that, so it has became a sort of tradition for our trips. Plus we think it's cool, also stops direct sunlight on the wheel on the roof (see, a part logical reason hehe)

We were in (I think) Spain on a toll road...chap behind the both jokingly said (covering his eyes) that he cannot see us because of the camo net hehe. Sadly, it didn't quite work in avoiding the toll charge :)

That's fair enough, keeps it a bit different from the rest. I was beginning to wonder if you even had a spare wheel hah! Where do you get your lettering done for the side of the landy?

Hehe :)

Lettering tend to get from ebay...send messages to a bunch of them with requirements and go with whoever seems to have a good price/quote at the time.

:)

Soon to come on the website...we are overlayng the GPS points onto Google Maps, so will be able to see pretty much the exact route and terrain for the trip :D

OK... well i now he has access to the necessary software... let me know i he needs any help or a copy of the data we gathered.

Right...full mapping details now on our website using 800 unique coordinates - see our route, the places we visited and the terrain we drove on overlayed onto Google Maps :) Made me very happy to follow through the route while drinking V and Coke :)

Of course, some places we do not have reception, so for instance it shows us going through the sea rather than along it! You can also see where we have done weird circles where we are lost. Well, not lost, just finding the correct direction :) Well, I enjoyed it anyway.

Next to come, the videos :D

Hmm, I had my suspicions about the dodgy running problem...we were loosing speed on the way down by the time we got to spain, but kept on going anyway, and on the way back it got even worse...thought it might be the points or the distributor being weird...but did a compression test today and one cylinder is down. So yeah, erm, seems we drove most the way like that *Apologises to Red the Land Rover for being mean*

Yes, that does sound interesting :)

Not sure where to next to be honest! Would like to go to Mongolia again...but also open to different ideas. Not going to be for a little while yet though the next one.
