Hi everyone

I'm the new girl on here, so just dropping by to say hello!

I've got myself a lovely disco. Can't remember which model cos I get it mixed up with the blue one we rolled over a couple of years ago!!! it's silver and I love it!! I'll post the full model if you're really interested once I get home and read the writing on the back, tee hee!!

Been bouncing around (ahem) in the back of Disco's for four years now, thanks to my lovely bloke Gareth. Increasingly I'm taking over more of the driving, which is only fair cos he chaffeured me around for years. So now the disco feels a bit more like "my" car.

We do most of the maintenance ourselves, most recently replacing corroded brake pipe for the MOT. I'm not afraid to get mucky as well as passing spanners and making coffee.

That's enough for now! Speak soon!

No worries that was a quick welcome as the battery on the laptop was
about to go lol

Only had my Disco for a year Previous motor was a Freelander, but needed to tow a series 2a would of been to heavy for the freelander..

I'm gonna start doing my own maintenance all the garages round here have jacked there prices up can do basic stuff but learning lol

Thank you both.

It's a R reg TDi ES. Although we've never really found that much difference between it and our previous disco. What is so special to warrant the extra 'S'? No matter really!

It's running well, but as ever there's a couple of things to fiddle about with!

Rain ingress. Changed the sunroofs so it must be a blocked valve in the channels and pipes around the roof edge

And I struggle changing from 3rd to 4th. Could be my driving inexperience, but Gareth will change a part underneath the gearstick. I'm not sure exactly what but he's pretty confident that it's a simple fix. Can't wait to help him cos I love learning new stuff about the disco. You're all probably nodding your head saying 'ahh yes I know which bit you mean'!!!

If I get any probs I know where to come for advice don't I ? !
Thanks to all
